Spare tire in your spare time

Some days ago,one of my friends call me at a late hour, and by the sound of his voice,he was a little ashamed, and worried,at the same time. What happened? Very simple,he was coming home from his girlfriend, and found out, with the help of nearby drivers, that one if his tires is under-inflated,and soon, flat. He wasn't worried,he knew he had a good spare tire in his trunk, and all that was needed was a little effort, and he would be on the road again.
But,life has a ironic way of choosing the worst possible moments to remind us that we should check periodically in order to keep things in good conditions. He takes his spare tire from the trunk, and, biiiig surprise- it's almost as flat as the one he just unscrewed from his car. Sure,if he would have known it.....
This is obviously,a rather unpleasant situation, but unfortunately,in his place there could have been any of us. So,i had to drive to a gas station, inflate the spare tire, come back, and everything was fine. While he was cursing,i told him that if things would have happened on the highway, it would have taken much more time, and a whole lot more cursing,to get him on the road again,as we all know, other drivers don't really care if you have a car problem.

So,as a final note, remeber that from time to time, you should check the fifth tire (that is the spare tire in the trunk, for those who smartly say "hey,my car needs only four") for correct pressure.
